Ms. McCracken is a retired teacher, completing 35 years of teaching instrumental music in the Baltimore County Public Schools.  She has taught all levels from elementary through high school; including 21 years at Kenwood High.  She is a product of the Baltimore County School System and an alumnus of Perry Hall High School.  She earned her B. S. Degree from the University of Maryland, College Park and Master of Education from Loyola College.  Pam has been on the high school staff as a conductor and sectional coach for the BCPS Summer Music Festival and has guest conducted all-county bands in Harford and Carroll Counties as well as the Maryland All-State Junior Band.  She is active as a judge for Solo and Ensemble Festivals as well as Middle and High School Band Festivals throughout the state.

Pam is also the Choir Director at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Bowleys Quarters and has taught private clarinet lessons in her home studio.  She has performed for many years with the Baltimore Symphonic Band and has traveled on three European Tours.  Pam has performed in the pit orchestra for several local school and community musical productions.

As a member of the Middle River Concert Band, Pam enjoys playing the clarinet and conducting the band as they bring musical joy to their audiences throughout the area.
